You can find us on the 5th floor of the Swagat Complex over in Jamnagar. We are located right across from the Hotel Regency on P N Marg, which is a busy street. This is the place where we put together the Khabar Gujarat updates and try to keep track of what is happening. It is a busy little office with people always talking on the phone or typing away at their desks in the back. Being up on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, but mostly we are just looking at our computer screens or talking to people around the town. We are a unit of Khabar Communication, so there is always some new bit of news coming in that needs to be sorted out and handled quickly. It gets a bit hectic when a big story breaks locally, and the office usually stays open quite late during those times. We do not have any fancy furniture or a big decorated lobby; it is just a plain place for us to work and get the word out to the public. The elevator in the complex can be a bit slow during the busy lunch hours, but we just manage with it. Most of the staff here are locals who know Jamnagar and the surrounding areas inside and out. We focus on what is happening in Gujarat and try to keep things clear for everyone reading. It is a lot of legwork and making constant calls.
