Om Sai Classes

Om Sai Classes sits right at Narayan Nagar Chowk Number 2 in the Gulabnagar area of Jamnagar. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always the sound of horns and people talking outside our windows. We have a few rooms where the students gather after their regular school hours are over. It’s usually pretty packed in the evenings. The walls have some posters on them, and the whiteboards are usually covered in math problems or grammar rules by the end of the day. We have kids coming in with their heavy bags, looking a bit tired but ready to get their extra work done. The benches are a bit narrow, and sometimes we have to squeeze in an extra chair when more people show up than we expected. Jamnagar has its own pace, and we just follow along with it. The tea shop nearby is where the tutors usually go for a quick break. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical space for studying. We have lots of old registers piled up in the corner with records of everyone who has come through here over the years. Some of the lights flicker occasionally, but we just ignore it and keep teaching. It’s an honest living, helping the local kids get through their exams and understand their subjects a bit better. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now, and we know most of the shopkeepers around the chowk by name. It’s a noisy but good place to be for a few hours every evening.
