Nilay Sanghavi

My name is Nilay Sanghavi and I work out of Asha Chambers. This is right in the middle of the Grain Market area, which is always busy with people buying and selling things. Specifically, we are in Satta Bazar, right opposite the S P Mehta Market. It’s a very traditional part of Jamnagar and has a lot of history. I’ve been here for years now. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical place to do business and keep all my files. It can get pretty noisy outside with all the market traders and the carts moving around all day. I don't really have a big staff or anything like that. Most of the time it’s just me handling the things that come across my desk. I don't use a lot of big words to describe what I do. People come to me when they need something handled, and I just do it. That’s how it works in the market. You build a reputation by showing up every day and being straight with people. My family has been in this city for a long time. I like being near the S P Mehta Market because everyone knows where that is. It makes it easy to give directions to anyone looking for me. I’m not interested in being some big corporate entity. I just like the way things are done here, face to face and honest. It is a good place to work.
