Navneet Jewellers has its home at Navneet House, right in the heart of Chandi Bazar. If you know the bazaar, you know it can be a pretty loud and crowded place, especially in the afternoons. We’ve been here for a long time, and the shop has become a bit of a second home for most of us. We don't have one of those modern, clinical-looking jewelry stores you see in the big malls. Our place is a bit more traditional and lived-in. We handle all sorts of jewelry work, and we’ve seen generations of families come through our doors. Chandi Bazar is a special place to work because of the history there. Navneet House is an old building, but it’s sturdy and it fits the vibe of the market. We don't really do much in the way of fancy promotion. Word travels fast in the bazaar, so if you do a decent job, people will find you. Sometimes we sit out front and talk to the other shopkeepers when things are slow. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a "corporate culture" or anything like that. We’re just people who know jewelry and like working in the market. Every day is a little different depending on who walks in. We keep things straightforward and honest with everyone. It’s a busy life in the bazar, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
