Myco Machinery

Our workshop, Myco Machinery, is located at plot 100 in the Hapa Industrial Estate. Hapa is the kind of place where everyone is doing something with their hands. You can hear the noise of workshops from every direction. We have a decent-sized space here, though it always feels a bit cramped once we get a few machines in for repair or assembly. The floor is almost always stained with some kind of oil or coolant. We have a few old metal cupboards where we store our tools, and they squeak every time you open them. The light comes in through the high windows, which are usually a bit dusty. We don’t have a fancy sign out front, just the name and the number so people can find us. It’s a small team of us working here. We’ve worked together for a long time, so there isn’t much need for formal meetings or big speeches. We just know what needs doing. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes of the estate, and we have to go out and help them navigate. It’s just part of the job. Lunch is usually brought from home in tiffin boxes and eaten quickly so we can get back to the machines. It is basic, hard work, but we are used to the pace and the environment here. We have been in this same spot for years and don't plan on moving.
