We are set up here as Essar Constructions India Ltd. The office is more of a hub for our local projects in the district. It’s quite a drive to get out here if you’re coming from the bigger cities, but we like the pace. Being surrounded by the local fields and small villages makes for a different kind of workday. We don’t have any of those big glass buildings. Our office is just a practical space where we handle the logistics for our construction work. There’s usually a lot of dust on our boots because we’re often out at the sites. We have a small crew that manages the paperwork and the planning. It’s mostly just us talking through the schedules and making sure the supplies arrive on time. The people in the Badangi area are very friendly. We’ve become a bit of a fixture here over the years. We don’t really do any fancy advertising. Word of mouth usually gets us by. It’s an honest way to work, and we feel connected to the land here.
