About Metro Glass – Building & Construction Material in Jamnagar
We've been at Metro Glass for a while now, right by Badi Gate near the Galaxy Cinema. It’s a busy spot but we like it here in the K. P. Shah House. People usually find us when they need a window fixed or a piece of glass cut for a table. We just get on with the work every day. Sometimes it's a small job, other times it takes all afternoon. We handle different types of glass, mostly whatever people in the neighborhood need. It's not fancy, just a shop where we cut and move glass around. The dust gets everywhere, but that's just part of the job. We try to be careful with the edges because glass is sharp. If you walk past the cinema, you'll see us. We’ve known the neighbors for years. Most days involve measuring twice and hoping we don't break anything. It is a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we are used to it. We keep our tools ready and just wait for the next person to come through the door with a frame or a drawing. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just making sure the glass fits where it’s supposed to go. It is simple work, really. Just glass and a bit of sweat. We keep the scrap pieces in the back. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to move big sheets, but we manage to get it done.
