Mehulnaz Exports

Our spot is right near the Gurudatt Mandir on Palace Road. It is a good landmark because everyone knows the temple, so it makes finding us a lot easier for the delivery guys. Being Mehulnaz Exports means we spend a huge chunk of our day dealing with paperwork and boxes. If you walked in, you would probably see stacks of forms and maybe some samples lying around on the desks. It gets pretty hectic when a big shipment is due to go out. We have to coordinate with a lot of different people, and sometimes the phones do not stop ringing. Palace Road itself can be a bit of a nightmare for parking, so we usually tell people to just drop things off quickly. We are not trying to be some massive global corporation with glass walls. We just have our desks, our computers, and a lot of lists of things that need to be sent across the border. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just sit there having tea while we wait for the pages to load. That is just part of the job. The temple bells are a nice sound to have in the background though, especially in the evenings when things start to wind down. We have been at this for a while now, just moving goods from one place to another and trying to keep everything on schedule. It is just us doing our bit every day, dealing with the customs people and the transport guys.
