Our shop is located right on Ashapura Road. It is a name that has been around for a very long time, mostly because it was passed down through the family over the years. Khatri Jivaraj Girdhar isn't just a business for us; it is our family history. The building itself is quite old, and you can see that in the worn bricks and the way the wooden floors creak when you walk on them. We actually like it that way. It reminds us of where we started and how long we have been standing here. Every single morning, we open up the metal shutters and sweep the front step. The road gets very busy with people going to their jobs or heading to the market, and we see the same faces every day. We sell what we have always sold, sticking to the things we know the best. We do not have a website or any kind of social media presence. Most people find their way to us because their parents or even their grandparents used to come here. We spend a lot of our time talking to the customers about their families and how life is going. It feels more like a community hangout than a cold business office. Sometimes we sit on the wooden bench outside when the sun starts to go down. It is a good spot to watch the world. We just keep doing what we have always done.
