Divyang Packaging

We’ve been over here at Shree Industrial Park for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Kansumara Udhyognaga and there is always something going on with the neighbors. Most days we are just busy getting the boxes and wrapping materials ready for the trucks. It started out pretty small but we keep adding more machines when we can afford them. My cousin helps with the loading and I handle the orders that come in through the phone. We make sure the tape is strong and the cardboard doesn't tear easily because that’s what people actually care about when they buy this stuff. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and have some tea until the lights come back on. It’s not fancy here. There’s dust from the paper and the noise of the cutters is pretty loud most of the day. We try to get things out the door by five so we can get home. People around here know where to find us if they need a batch of custom sizes. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. You just walk into the shed and someone will be there to help you. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot, but we like being our own bosses. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
