Jay Dwarkesh Travels is based in Khodiyar Colony, right on Aerodome Road. We are quite close to Maher Samaj and the Saat Rasta area, which is a very busy part of Jamnagar. It’s a good location because so many people pass through here every day on their way to work or the airport. We’ve been around for a while, just doing our thing with travel and transport. It’s not a flashy business. Our office is just a place to talk to customers and keep the keys organized. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop by for a chat about their travel plans. Moving people around the city and beyond is what we do for a living. The traffic near Saat Rasta can be a nightmare at certain times of the day, but we’ve learned how to manage it. Our vehicles are out on the road most of the time. We try to keep them in decent shape, but the roads aren't always kind to the tires. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing speeches for us. We just tell people what we can do and then we go ahead and do it. It’s a local operation run by people who grew up right here in Jamnagar. We know the shortcuts and the best times to travel to avoid the worst of the afternoon heat. People come to us because they know where we are and how we work.
