V. K. Road Lines

We operate V. K. Road Lines right off the Jamnagar-Rajkot Highway Road. You can find us at the Hotel Mansi, near P. O. Jambuda. It’s a good spot for us because the highway is where all the action is. Trucks are coming and going at all hours, so being near the hotel makes sense for the drivers. We’ve been here for a while, and the road has seen a lot of traffic over the years. We don't have a fancy corporate headquarters; our setup is pretty basic and functional. Mostly, we are busy coordinating where the trucks need to be and making sure things are moving as they should. The highway noise is just something we’ve gotten used to over time. It never really stops. Jambuda is a small enough place that everyone knows where the hotel is. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork, tracking loads and talking to drivers. Sometimes things get delayed with weather or road work, but that’s just life on the road. We keep a pot of tea going and just handle things as they come. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important to keep things moving between Jamnagar and Rajkot. If you’re passing by the hotel, you’ll likely see some of our guys around. We’re just a regular transport outfit doing our bit. The work is steady and that is all we really need.
