Shanti Construction Co.

You can find us at Shanti House, which is Plot No. 03 in Valkeshwari Nagri, right on Indira Marg. It’s a central enough spot for a construction company. Shanti Construction Co. has been running out of this building for quite a while. The ground floor is usually where we keep the samples of stones and bricks, and upstairs is where we do the planning. There are always rolls of blueprints sitting on the desks and half-empty cups of tea. Construction is a messy business, so even our office usually has some dust tracked in from the sites we are visiting. We spend a lot of time on our phones or out in the field looking at foundations and walls. Indira Marg is a busy road, so there’s a lot of traffic noise coming through the windows. We don’t have a big fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk in and find whoever is available. We handle a lot of different projects, from small house repairs to bigger builds, so our schedule is always changing. Sometimes the rain slows us down or a supplier doesn't show up on time, and we just have to deal with it. We’ve been around this part of town long enough that most people know where Shanti House is. We just focus on getting the buildings up and moving on to the next one.
