Hindustan Trading Co.

Being right across from the Telegraph Office on K.V. Road makes us easy to find. We've been Hindustan Trading Co. for quite a while now. The road gets noisy with traffic but we’re used to it. The shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to sell. We deal with trading various items. It depends on what’s in demand. Some days are slow, others we can barely keep up with the people coming in. We don't use big words or fancy brochures here. If you need something, you just ask. We keep things pretty straightforward. The building is old but sturdy enough. We spend most of our time organizing the stock. K.V. Road is a central part of our lives. We see the same people going to work every morning. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just sit outside for a bit. It’s a local way of doing things. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. We’ve seen the area change over the years. New shops come and go but we stay here. It's a lot of work, keeping track of everything. We write things down in ledgers. It feels more real that way. If you happen to be near the Telegraph Office, that's where we are. Just a regular trading business doing what we do every day. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just stay open and keep busy with the daily chores.
