Our spot here in Surajkaradi is tucked in with the taxation guys near the State Bank of India. Being right by the highway makes it easy for the trucks to find us, though the noise from the traffic never really stops. We work out of this office handling the cement side of things for Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd. It’s a small setup, mostly paperwork and managing the accounts. Mr. Dhokai’s office is right here too, so it’s a bit of a mix of people coming in for tax help and us dealing with construction materials. We’ve been at this location for a bit, and everyone in the area knows the landmark near the bank. It isn't a huge warehouse here, just the administrative end of the business. You’ll usually find a couple of us at the desks sorting out delivery schedules or checking invoices. The weather gets pretty hot out this way, so we appreciate the shade when we can get it. People from around the highway stop in when they need to check on their orders. We don't do anything too complicated, just making sure the numbers match up and the logistics stay on track.
