It is a lot of logistics here because of the port and the movement of goods. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the transport guys and the warehouse. The building we are in has seen better days, but it is sturdy enough for our needs. Inside, it’s just the basics—a few chairs, some old desks, and files dating back a few years. We don't go in for anything flashy or modern. We just make sure the cement is moving and the records are kept straight. The local talk is mostly about the weather and the ships coming into the harbor. It’s a slow pace compared to the big cities, but we stay busy enough with the local demand. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in through the windows, so we are always wiping down the desks before we start. It is just a part of working in this part of Gujarat. We do our job, get the orders sorted, and go home when the sun sets over the water. It’s a steady life.
