Cavier Bath Fittings Ltd. is located in Phase 2 of the GIDC in Dared, specifically at plot number 93. If you know this area, you know it is full of small and big factories all doing different things with metal. Our place is loud most of the time because of the machines running. We make all sorts of taps and bathroom parts here. It is a lot of grinding and polishing work to get the finish right. The floor is usually covered in little metal shavings by the end of the day, so we spend a good amount of time sweeping up. Our staff mostly comes from the nearby colonies, and we have a routine that hasn't changed much in years. We keep the inventory on those tall metal racks. Sometimes the light in the back of the warehouse flickers, but we haven't got around to fixing it yet. When the monsoon comes, the roads in GIDC get a bit messy with puddles, but the work doesn't stop. We pack everything into cardboard boxes and tape them up tight. It is simple work, really. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Just a desk near the front where we handle the paperwork and talk to the drivers who come to pick up the crates. We have been in Dared for a while now and most people around here know us by name and just drop by for a chat occasionally.
