Our place in Anand is at 30, Bahar Ni Khadki, in the Motu Adadh area. It’s very close to the Vaherai Mata Temple, which is the main landmark for anyone trying to find us. This part of Anand is quite traditional, with narrow streets and old buildings that have been around for generations. Our office is one of those older structures. It has a lot of character, even if the floors are a bit uneven and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. Inside, it’s a typical working space with old wooden cupboards and a lot of ledgers. We don’t go in for modern glass and steel. It feels more solid this way. The neighborhood is always active. You can hear the temple bells and the sounds of the local market nearby. It’s a very Gujarat experience, especially during festival times when the whole street comes alive. We have a small staff who have been with us for a long time. We don't have fancy titles or a complicated hierarchy. Everyone just chips in with whatever needs doing. The summers are tough, as the old building tends to hold the heat, but we manage with plenty of water and fans. It’s a very grounded place to work. We are part of the local fabric here in Anand. No one puts on any acts; we just work hard and enjoy our tea breaks. The street is narrow, so we don't bring big cars here.
