Front Office Manager-Hotel Dwarka Residency,Dwarka

I spend most of my days here at the front desk of Hotel Dwarka Residency. We are located right behind Kaklash Kund on Lakhmir Sangan Street. It's a busy spot in Dwarka because of all the pilgrims coming through. My name is Prahladbhai and I've been looking after the place for a while now. The building is near Sihori Nivas, so most people find us quite easily once they get to this part of town. The street gets pretty crowded during the festival seasons, and there's always someone looking for a place to stay. It's not a fancy corporate setup, just a local place where we try to keep things moving. I handle the check-ins and make sure the rooms are ready when people arrive tired from their travels. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to watch the street life outside for a bit. We have been in this spot for years. Dwarka has changed a lot, with new shops and buildings popping up everywhere, but our corner stays pretty much the same. Most of our guests are families visiting the temples. It can get dusty and noisy out there, but that’s just how it is in this neighborhood. I usually sit here with my logbook and the keys. It isn't a complicated job, but it keeps me busy from morning till night. We just do our work and try to stay organized so nobody gets frustrated. That's really all there is to it.
