Etch Industries

Our workshop is at C/44-A in the M.P. Shah Industrial Estate, right on Sarusection Main Road. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the noise of the machines before you even see our door. Etch Industries is a place where we get our hands dirty every single day. The industrial estate is always humming with activity, and there’s a lot of coming and going of delivery vans. Inside our space, the air smells a bit like chemicals and metal, which is just something we’ve grown used to over time. We do a lot of precise work, so we have to keep the lighting bright even if the rest of the shop looks a bit cluttered with crates and raw materials. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone visits, they usually just talk to us right on the shop floor or in the tiny corner we use as an office. We’ve got a couple of old fans that struggle to keep the place cool in the summer, but we make do. It’s just a small team of us here. We don't have any big corporate policies; we just know what needs to be finished by the end of the week. Most of the guys have been here since we started. We take our tea breaks together outside near the main road just to get some fresh air for a bit before going back to the etchings.
