Essar Constrution India Limited is located over at Flat No A-9 in the Hansnagar Co-Operative Society. This is on Tangrenagar Road in the Dhanori area of Pune. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes, but it’s where we do our business. Interestingly, we also have ties to Jamnagar in Gujarat, so we are often moving between these places or handling things for both areas. The office in Pune is inside a residential society, which makes it feel much more relaxed than a downtown office. We use the flat to manage our construction projects. You’ll usually find someone looking over plans or arguing about a delivery that’s late. It is a very hands-on environment. There are no polished floors or uniforms here. We just wear what’s comfortable for a building site. The Dhanori area has grown a lot lately, so there is always some noise from new buildings going up nearby. We fit right in. Sometimes we have to head out to Jamnagar to check on work there, which keeps us on our toes. The transition between Maharashtra and Gujarat is just part of our routine. We keep our files organized in the back room and have our meetings around a plain wooden table. It’s just a normal office for people who spend more time outside in the dirt than sitting in a chair. It works well enough for what we do.
