We have been working out of this spot in Vadodara for a good while now. Our office is right there in Mangaldeep Society, which is tucked behind Dev Nagar and Yamuna Nagar. If you know the Makarand Desai Road area in Gotri, you’ve probably passed by us without even noticing. It’s not a flashy building with big signs or anything. We are just Essar Constructions India Ltd. and we mostly focus on getting the actual work done on the ground. Most days, the office is a bit of a mess with site plans and half-empty chai cups everywhere. We don't really do the whole corporate thing because construction is a dirty job anyway. You’re more likely to see us in dusty boots than in suits. We spend a lot of time dealing with local vendors and trying to make sure the cement shows up when it's supposed to. Sometimes the power goes out or the phones act up, but that is just how it is around here. We know the neighborhood well and the people who live nearby usually see our trucks moving in and out. It’s a simple operation where we just try to keep things moving forward one day at a time. We aren’t looking to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want to make sure the projects we handle are solid and the guys on the site have what they need to finish the job.
