You can find us at Essar Construction India Ltd. over on Odhav Road in Ahmedabad. We are at number 10 in the G.I.D.C. Colony. If you know where the Odhav Police Chowky is, we are right behind that. It’s a very busy industrial area, so there is always a lot of noise and dust, but that’s expected in this line of work. We’ve been based here for a while and the location is practical for getting materials in and out. The office itself is pretty basic. We don’t have fancy furniture or a reception desk that looks like a hotel. We just have what we need to get the job done. Our team spends most of their time out on the various construction sites around the city, so the office is mostly a place to store tools and do the payroll. It’s a grit-and-dirt kind of business. We don't try to hide that. Ahmedabad is growing fast and there’s always something new being built, so we stay pretty busy. We’ve got a mix of young guys learning the ropes and older workers who have been doing this since before the roads were even paved. We just show up every morning, drink some tea, and get to work. It’s not complicated or fancy, just the way we like it. We hope to stay right here in the colony for many more years to come.
