Essar Construction (I)Ltd

We are located over at 99, North Street in Ariyalur. If you know this part of Tamil Nadu, you know it gets pretty dusty with all the cement activity around here. Our office for Essar Construction (I)Ltd isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a regular spot where we get our daily work done. Most mornings start with someone bringing in tea from the shop down the road, and we sit around the old wooden desks checking on the schedules. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always humming in the background while we handle the paperwork. There are about five of us who are usually here in the office, and the rest are out at the sites. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with the supervisors. The street outside is usually busy with people heading to the market, and sometimes it gets a bit loud. We’ve been at this North Street address for a while now, so the neighbors all know us. There is a lot of filing to do, and sometimes the cabinets get a bit messy, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical place for us. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. We just focus on the projects we have in hand and try to keep things moving along. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or talk about what’s happening in town.
