Essar Construction (I) Ltd

In Jamnagar, we work out of 47-B Kamala Bhavan in the Defence Colony area. It is a quiet enough neighborhood until we start moving the heavy equipment around. Essar Construction (I) Ltd has been part of this community for a good bit of time. Our office isn't anything special, just a room in the Bhavan where we keep the ledgers and the site diaries. We spend most of our energy making sure the crews are doing what they are supposed to do and that the materials don't go missing. Being near Khodiyar Colony means we are pretty central to the work we do around here. Construction is full of surprises, and usually, they are the kind that cost you time. A pipe might burst or the cement might not set right because of the humidity. We just deal with those things and move on. There is no point in complaining about the heat or the dust because that is just part of the paycheck. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want to finish the current project so we can start the next one. The guys who work for us are local, and they know the area well. We share a lot of meals together on the job site, usually sitting on piles of timber or crates. It is a simple life of building and fixing things here in Jamnagar.
