Dr V M Shah Orthopaedic Hospital

Our hospital is located over on Summair Club Road. Dr V M Shah started this place quite a few years ago to focus on bones and joints. If you’ve got a broken leg or your back is acting up, that’s the kind of thing we see here every day. It’s an orthopaedic hospital, so we have bits of equipment for X-rays and setting casts. The building is easy enough to find on Summair Club Road. It’s not a massive skyscraper, just a functional hospital building that’s been part of the neighborhood for a long time. We have nurses who have been with us forever and they know the routine inside out. Sometimes the hallway gets crowded with wheelchairs or people on crutches, but we manage. It’s not a shiny, new medical center with a cafe in the lobby. It’s a place where surgery happens and people recover from their injuries. We deal with a lot of sports accidents and also older people who need help with their knees or hips. The days are usually long, starting early and ending late when the last patient is settled. We don't do much advertising; people mostly hear about us from their neighbors or friends who had their bones fixed here. It’s a busy, noisy, but helpful place for anyone with bone trouble. We just keep working through the list of patients every morning.
