R K Brass Product is located at 58 Digvijay Plot here in Jamnagar. This area is pretty much the heart of the brass industry, so you can imagine how much noise there is from sunrise to sunset. We have a small setup where we handle various brass items. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning in every room. Most of the time, the windows are open to let the air circulate while the machines are running. We have been at this 361005 zip code for a long time. Our neighbors are all doing similar work, so we often help each other out with tools or advice when something breaks down. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and we sweep it up at the end of every shift. We aren't trying to change the world or anything; we just want to make decent products that people can actually use. Some days the machines act up and we spend the whole afternoon fixing a motor. Other days everything runs smooth and we get ahead of schedule. We take our tea breaks seriously because it’s the only time we get to sit down and talk about something other than work. It’s just a regular bunch of guys trying to make a living in a busy industrial town. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just work hard and go home when the shift is over.
