Our unit is Plot No. 4219 on Road F in G.I.D.C - 3, Dared. It’s right in the heart of the industrial zone, and if you’ve been to Dared, you know it’s a place where everyone is making something. The heat in this part of the country is no joke, so we have the big exhaust fans running constantly to try and pull some of the warm air out of the building. We’ve got machines lined up along the walls, and the middle of the floor is usually taken up by boxes waiting to be taped shut. It’s a lot of repetitive work, watching the parts come off the line and making sure they look right. We don't have a big sign out front, just the plot number painted on the wall near the entrance. Most of the people working here have been part of the team for years, so we don't need to say much to know what needs doing next. Road F gets a lot of tractors and small lorries passing by, which can get pretty loud during the middle of the day. We keep a big water cooler near the door because everyone stays thirsty in this weather. It’s a simple setup with a few desks for the paperwork and a lot of shelf space for the finished products. We just keep our heads down and do the work that’s in front of us until it’s time to go home.
