You'll find Super Impex over at Plot No. 348 and 349-b in Phase-2 of the Gidc. Having two plots right next to each other gives us a bit more room for the inventory. We deal with various imported goods and parts. The warehouse is usually full of wooden crates and cardboard boxes. It gets a bit dusty in there, but we try to sweep it out once a week. I spend most of my time on the phone or checking the shipping manifests. The guys in the back are good at loading the trucks quickly. We’ve been here for a while now, and the area has grown a lot. There used to be empty fields nearby, but now it’s all factories. The power goes out occasionally, which is frustrating, but we have a small generator to keep the lights on. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time labeling things and making sure the counts are right. Sometimes we find mistakes in the shipments and have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them. Lunch is usually a tiffin brought from home, eaten quickly at the small table near the entrance. We don’t have a website that does much, we just rely on the people we’ve known for years. It’s a simple operation. We just try to keep the flow of goods moving without too many delays. The evening breeze is nice when we open the big shutter.
