Shubham Brass Industries

Our place is at Plot No. 4072 on Road No. I in GIDC-3, Dared. Being in Jamnagar, we are right in the middle of all the brass activity that goes on here. Shubham Brass Industries is basically a big shed where we handle our daily production. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't familiar with Road I, because all these industrial plots look a bit the same after a while. We have been working out of this spot for years. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon, and the sound of the cutters is pretty constant. It's not a corporate environment at all. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting dirty, and there is always grease on someone's hands. We have a small crew, and everyone knows what they are supposed to do without being told too much. Sometimes the electricity acts up or a machine needs a part, and that slows us down, but we usually figure it out. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big sign or a fancy lobby. We just want to get the orders boxed up and ready for the transport trucks that come by in the evenings. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the time we lock up, everyone is ready to head home. It’s just a normal Jamnagar workshop doing what it does day in and day out for everyone.
