Runwel Industries

Out here at Plot No. 397 in GIDC-2, things stay pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. Dared is a big industrial area, and our little spot is right in the middle of all the noise. We’ve got a small crew here, and most of us live close by in Jamnagar. The air always smells a bit like oil and metal, which I guess you get used to after a few weeks. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people wearing suits. We’re usually in work clothes, maybe with a bit of dirt on our hands from the machines. We spend most of our time looking at blueprints or checking the parts coming off the line. It can get hot in the shed during the summer, so we keep the fans going at full blast. We don’t have any big meetings or anything like that. If something needs to be said, we just shout it over the noise of the grinders. We’ve been at this for some time now, just slowly growing the shop as we can afford more equipment. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we all have to take an unscheduled break, but mostly we’re just grinding away. We make sure the floor is swept at the end of the day, lock up the gate, and head home to do it all again tomorrow. It’s just regular work for regular people, keeping the shop running steady.
