Rajeshwari Brass Industries

We’re located in Shed No. 602 in Phase 2 of the Gidc area in Dared, Jamnagar. If you know Jamnagar, you know this is the heart of the brass industry. Our shed is just one of many in this industrial zone. It’s a loud place. There’s the sound of cutting, polishing, and machines running all day long. We don’t have an air-conditioned office or fancy furniture. It’s mostly metal scraps, tools, and the smell of hot brass. We’ve been working out of this shed for years. Our clothes usually end up with some dust on them by the end of the shift. We start work early before the heat gets too bad, though it’s always warm near the machines. We’re just regular workers who know how to handle brass. We don’t have a big team of managers. Usually, it’s just us on the floor making sure the parts are coming out right. The road outside the shed is often blocked by trucks loading up goods. It can be a bit chaotic during the peak hours. We take our tea breaks together and talk about the day’s work. There’s no corporate talk here. We just focus on the orders we have to finish. It’s a gritty, hands-on kind of life in the Gidc, and we’re just part of the many shops making things every single day. We don't worry too much about the noise anymore.
