Down here in Jamnagar, at Plot No. 417 in GIDC Phase 2, we do what most people around here do—we work with brass. Dared is full of shops like ours, and we’ve been part of the Udyognagar scene for quite some time. The air always has that metallic tang to it. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it's full of rods, scrap, and turning machines. We spend our days making small brass components. It’s repetitive work, but it takes a bit of skill to get the dimensions right every single time. We don't have a big office or a bunch of salespeople. Usually, it's just the owner or one of the senior guys handling the phone calls. We started small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage. If the machines are running, we are happy. Jamnagar is the right place for this kind of work because you can find anything you need for brass within a few miles. We don’t go in for big promises or fancy slogans. We just tell you what we can make and when it will be ready. Sometimes the orders are big, sometimes they are small. We treat them all about the same. It’s just about keeping the lathes spinning and the parts moving out to the customers. That’s the life in GIDC for us.
