Parmeshwar Brass Products

We are located at Shed No. 4046 in the GIDC area of Dared, Phase III. It’s a busy industrial zone and our place, Parmeshwar Brass Products, is right in the middle of it on Mahavir Swami Marg. We do a lot of work with brass, mostly making small parts and fittings that go into bigger machines or plumbing. The furnace gets very hot and the whole shed stays warm even in the winter months. We spend our days making molds and pouring the molten metal. It’s a process that requires a lot of attention so nobody gets hurt. My uncle started this workshop years ago and we have just kept it going. The floor is usually covered in sand from the casting process. We have a few lathes for finishing the parts and making sure they are the right size. It’s not a clean job and we are usually covered in black soot by the end of the shift. We don’t have any fancy brochures. People usually find us through word of mouth in the industrial estate. We just take the orders as they come and try to finish them before the deadline. Sometimes the metal prices go up and we have to adjust, but we try to keep things steady. It’s a tight-knit group here and we all know how to handle the machines.
