Laxmi Wires

At Plot No. 3572Dared in the Gidc area, you will find Laxmi Wires. It is a place filled with the sound of spools turning and wire being pulled through machines. The floor is mostly taken up by large coils of different types of metal. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to find space for it. The workers here are used to the rhythm of the machinery, which runs for most of the day. Dared is an area where everyone is doing something industrial, so the sound of our shop fits right in with the neighbors. We don’t have a fancy showroom; the product speaks for itself when people come to pick up their rolls of wire. There’s a small desk near the front where we keep the logbooks and the delivery notes. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is. It can get a bit loud, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the winding machines. We focus on making sure the gauge is right and the winding is tight. It’s simple, repetitive work that requires a lot of attention to detail to make sure nothing tangles up. We’ve been here at Plot 3572 for a long time, just doing our thing and keeping the reels turning. Most days we are too busy to notice the time passing by.
