Jay Brass Industries is located over at Plot No. 472dared in the Gidc area. If you know the industrial zone, you know it's a lot of metal and noise. We fit right in. We work with brass all day long. It’s heavy work, and your hands get dirty, but that’s the nature of the business. We’ve got the machines set up in a way that makes sense for the workflow. We started this because we knew the trade. There wasn’t a big plan, just a need to produce brass parts. The floors are concrete and the walls are filled with tools. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just answer the phone and take the orders as they come. Sometimes the machines act up, and we spend the afternoon with a wrench in hand. It’s just the way it goes. The Gidc area is always moving. You see the same faces every day at the tea stall nearby. We like being part of this community. It's honest work. We don't promise anything other than showing up and doing the job at Plot No. 472dared. The brass piles up and then it goes out to the customers. We’ve been doing this long enough to know the rhythm of the machines. It’s loud, it’s hot, but it’s ours. We don't need much else to keep the shop going through the week.
