Icon Industries

Icon Industries is situated at Plot No. 260 on the Lalpur Bypass in Phase-2 of Gidc. The location is quite handy because the bypass is right there, making it easy for logistics and moving goods. We’ve been operating out of this plot for quite a few years now. The facility is basically a large shed where all the fabrication happens. It’s a loud place. You can hear the sounds of metal being worked from the road. We don't have any polished office space or a fancy entrance. You just walk through the main gate and you’re right where the action is. The air is often filled with the smell of welding and the sound of hammers. It’s a tough environment, but we’re used to it. Our workers are mostly local guys who have been in this trade for a while. We don't have a big management team. It’s just us doing the work. Sometimes we have to deal with the dust blowing in from the bypass, but that’s just part of the location. We focus on getting the orders out on time. We don't do any marketing or have a dedicated sales person. People find us because they know we’re here at Plot 260. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the work is done properly before we lock up for the night. It isn't complicated, but it keeps the lights on and the machines running. The neighbors are okay too.
