Our place is over on Road G in the third phase of GIDC. If you've ever driven through here, you know how busy it gets with the lorries and the constant movement of goods. We share the plot at 3534. It's a basic setup. We have the main work floor and some storage in the back that gets a bit cluttered sometimes. Usually, there's three or four of us around during the day. We deal with various industrial supplies and parts. It isn't anything glamorous, just a lot of moving things from one place to another and checking the inventory. The weather gets pretty hot in the summer, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before noon. We’ve been at this location for some years now. You get used to the noise of the neighboring units after a while, it just becomes background noise. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside on plastic chairs and talk until it comes back on. It is a good community here. We know the guys at the tea stall down the road quite well and see them every morning. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to for invoices. Most of our work is done with our hands and by talking to people face to face. We keep the gates open during the day so the breeze can get in. It is just a regular small business.
