Angel Turnometic

Our shop is located at Plot 675 in Phase-2 of the Gidc area. It is a proper industrial estate, so you won’t find many trees or parks around this part of town. Angel Turnometic is basically a place with a lot of heavy metal and lathe machines. It is noisy and smells like machine oil most of the time we are there. We have been working out of this spot for a good while. The floor is made of thick concrete and always has some metal shavings or oil spots on it. We wear our old overalls and just get to work every morning. It is definitely not a desk job. We spend most of the day on our feet moving between the different stations. The machines need a lot of looking after so they do not seize up. Sometimes a part breaks in the middle of a job, and we spend half the day just fixing the equipment. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to answer the phones professionally. Most people find us because they know someone who has worked with us before. It is a small shop with just a few hands. We eat our lunch together near the back door where there is a bit of a breeze. In the afternoons, it gets really hot under the tin roof. We use some old floor fans that rattle and move the air around.
