If you look for us in Jamnagar, you’ll find our place at 2 Haribhai's Vadi. It is right in the middle of Shankar Tekri, specifically on the 49 Udyognagar Road. This part of town is basically all workshops and factories, so it gets very loud and dusty throughout the day. We deal with brass products here, which is what this area is known for anyway. Our workshop isn't anything special to look at. It has high ceilings and concrete floors that are usually covered in metal scraps and dust from the machines. It gets really hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, but we just keep the fans running and get on with it. The trucks are always coming and going on Udyognagar Road, making it hard to park sometimes. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines inside and out. We don’t spend much time in an office; most of the work happens right there on the floor where the heat is. There is a small corner where we keep the ledgers and a telephone, but that’s about it for the paperwork side of things. It is a bit messy and loud, but that is just how it is when you are working with metal. We focus on the daily output and making sure the orders are ready when the transport arrives. It is honest work for everyone here.
