Atlantic Shipping

Down here in Jamnagar, specifically in Digvijaygram, we run Atlantic Shipping. We are at 2/14, which is a fairly quiet spot compared to the main docks. Shipping is what we know. It’s a lot of checking weather reports and vessel positions. Our office doesn't have any big signs or flashing lights. It’s just a place where we sit and handle the logistics of the sea. Jamnagar is a big hub for this kind of thing, so there’s always something happening. We spend a lot of time on the phone with agents and captains. It can be stressful when a ship is late, but we’ve learned to stay calm over the years. The air always smells a bit like salt and diesel around here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the work right and go home to our families. The furniture in the office is mostly mismatched, and there’s usually a stack of old maritime journals in the corner. We don't use much jargon. If someone asks what we do, we just say we move cargo. It’s a lot of manual entries and double-checking the manifests. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to do things the old-fashioned way. It’s just life in a port town. We’ve been here at this address for quite a while now and know the local routine.
