Ashok Cast

Ashok Cast is situated out at K-1/539/B, Phase - Ii, Dared, near the Lalpur Bypass. Being near the bypass is handy for the trucks, though the traffic is a nightmare during the morning rush. We do a lot of heavy casting here. The furnaces are always going and the heat can be something else, especially when the humidity is high. It is a tough job and we are usually pretty tired by the time we lock up. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for years. They know the rhythm of the place. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they saw our sign from the road. The workshop is a bit cluttered with old molds and scrap metal, but we know where everything is. It looks messy to a stranger but it makes sense to us. We just focus on getting the pours right and making sure the metal cools properly. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to redo a batch, which is frustrating but it happens. We don't try to act like we are some big corporation. We are just a local shop doing what we know how to do. If you stop by, you will see us in our work clothes, likely covered in some soot or dust. That is just life at the foundry. It keeps us busy and pays the bills.
