Achyut Brass Enterprise

We run Achyut Brass Enterprise from Shed No. E-145 in the F-11 section of GIDC, Dared. It’s not a very large space, but it’s enough for the machines we have. We’ve been in Dared for a few years now, and like most people here, we work with brass. It’s a steady kind of work. We spend our days turning rods into small parts that go into all sorts of things. The shed is simple, just four walls and a roof, and it gets pretty hot when all the machines are running at once. We don't have any sales people or a marketing budget. Most of our orders come from other businesses nearby or people who have heard about us through the grapevine. It’s a small community in GIDC, so your reputation is everything. My brother and I handle most of the stuff ourselves, from talking to the material guys to making sure the boxes are packed right. We don't have any fancy talk about our goals or visions. We just want to get the work done so we can go home to our families in the evening. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend half the day with a wrench in our hands. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We are just a regular brass unit trying to stay busy and keep things moving.
