A S Handicraft

Our shop, A S Handicraft, is located at Shop No. 03 in the Shyambhai Apartment building. We are right in Patel Colony, not too far from the Patel Samaj hall. It’s a local neighborhood, so we see the same faces walking by every day. The shop itself is pretty small, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got shelves stacked high with supplies and finished pieces. Sometimes it’s a bit hard to move around when we have a big shipment coming in or going out. We don't have any professional cleaners or a fancy front desk. We just sweep the floor ourselves every morning before we open up. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We spend most of our time at the back of the shop working on orders. We don't do a lot of advertising because word of mouth in the colony usually keeps us busy enough. We like the community here. It’s the kind of place where you can step out for a minute and know the shop next door will keep an eye on things for you. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to keep making handicrafts and pay the bills. It’s a modest way to live, but it’s what we know how to do best. Our family helps out when things get really busy, which is nice. We aren't fancy, but we are consistent.
