Vaid Milk Products Pvt. Ltd. is situated in Phase-2 of the Industrial Estate in Gangyal. It’s a noisy place with a lot of heavy machinery running nearby. Our facility isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. The floors are made of thick concrete and we have to wash them down multiple times a day to keep things clean. There is always a hum from the cooling units and the processing equipment. We have a small office at the front where the clerks sit. The air is thick with the smell of fresh dairy, which you eventually stop noticing after a few weeks. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most of our days are spent coordinating with the farmers and the delivery drivers who bring the raw milk in. The equipment is older, so it needs a lot of maintenance and care. We have a couple of mechanics who are always tinkering with something. It’s a lot of physical labor for the guys on the floor. In the summer, the heat inside the plant can be quite intense, so we keep the big doors open for some air. We don't have any formal uniforms, just practical clothes that can get dirty. It is a basic operation, but we have a steady routine that works for us. We just try to finish the batches on time and go home.
