Swastik Iron Trader & Baloria Cement & Iron Store

Our place is on G.T. Road in Digiana. We are right opposite the Industrial Estate. It’s a combined business, Swastik Iron Trader and Baloria Cement & Iron Store. Having both means we have a lot of different things going on at once. There’s cement bags in one area and iron rods in another. It gets pretty dusty with the cement, so we’re always sweeping up. The location is good because the trucks can get in and out easily from the main road. It's a loud area with all the industrial work nearby. We don't have any fancy office space. We just have a small desk where we do the billing and take calls. Most of the time we are out on the floor moving stock. We get a mix of contractors and local guys doing their own repairs. It’s a busy life. We don't really do much advertising. People just see the sign when they drive by or they hear about us from someone else in Digiana. We’ve been here long enough that most of the local builders know our faces. We just try to keep enough stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside, but we just get on with it. We are just a local store doing our part in the neighborhood and making sure the supplies are ready for whoever walks in next. That is all there is to it.
