Sun Ways

Sun Ways is based out of the Internation Transport Warehouse. It’s a big space and it’s always moving. There is constantly something coming in or going out. You can hear the sounds of crates moving and trucks backing up all day long. It's not a place for a quiet nap, that's for sure. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure things are where they should be. The warehouse can be a bit chilly in the winter, so we usually have a heater going in the small office area. We aren't a huge corporate team, just a few people who have been doing this for years. We know where everything is kept, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. It's a busy life, and the hours can be long depending on when the shipments arrive. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s just concrete floors and high ceilings. Sometimes we lose a pen or a clipboard and spend ten minutes looking for it. That’s just life in a warehouse. We’ve seen all sorts of goods pass through these doors over the years. It’s interesting to see what’s moving around the country. We just focus on getting the tasks done without making a big fuss about it. It’s practical work for practical people. Most days we leave feeling tired, but it’s a good kind of tired. It’s just a regular warehouse job. We keep the inventory moving.
