Serco Middle East

We are based in Jammu, specifically at G-29 in the Sainik Colony area. It's a quiet residential neighborhood mostly, but we have our setup right here. Serco Middle East might sound like a big name but we are just a local team handling things from this small office. The weather in Jammu gets really hot in the summer and the power cuts can be a bit of a pain for the computers, but we have a small generator to keep things running. We do a lot of coordination and management work. Mostly it's just emails and phone calls all day long. Some people in the colony often ask what we actually do inside because the building looks like a regular house from the outside. We just tell them we’re working on various projects. It’s a comfortable place to work and not like those high-rise corporate buildings you see in the big cities. We usually have our lunch together in the small kitchen area. Sometimes we bring food from home in our tiffins, and other times someone goes out to get something from the market. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. It’s easy to find once you know where Sainik Colony is located. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Just a simple workplace where we try to stay busy. The work involves a lot of details and keeping track of different schedules for the week. It’s just us working away here.
