Our tutorial center is at 167-B/ 13 in Nanak Nagar, Jammu. We’re situated right behind Trikuta Palace, which is a major landmark for anyone living in this part of the city. Nanak Nagar has these narrow lanes that can be a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to them, but we’re not too far off the main path. The space we have is humble. We’ve got a few rooms where we sit down with students to go over their lessons. It’s a very quiet environment, tucked away from the main road noise. We don’t use any big signs or bright lights to get attention. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or friends. The building is a bit older, so we’re always doing little repairs here and there to keep it looking decent. We have a small area where we keep all the books and supplies, and it usually stays pretty organized. The winters here in Jammu can be quite chilly, so we keep some rugs on the floor to make it feel a bit warmer. It’s just a normal place where work gets done every day. We don’t have a big mission statement or any corporate goals; we just want to make sure the kids who come here understand their homework. It’s a small, family-style operation where everyone knows each other, and that’s how we’ve always run things here behind the palace.
