Sarveshwar Organic Food Ltd. is based at Sarveshwar House in Village Seora. It’s over in the Baba Fareed Nagar area near Bishnath and Kunjwani. Being out in the village area is different from being in the city. It’s a bit quieter, though the tractors and trucks keep things lively around the fields. We focus on organic farming and processing. Mostly, we deal with rice and other grains that are grown without all the chemicals. The building itself is a sturdy place that serves as our main hub for everything. We have a lot of space for storage and for the milling equipment. It’s a dusty job, but it feels good to be close to where the food actually grows. The people who work here are mostly locals from the surrounding villages. We know the land and we know how the seasons change. We don't really bother with fancy offices or expensive furniture. We have simple desks and plenty of room for the sacks of grain. Sometimes the roads out here get muddy during the monsoon, which makes transport a bit of a challenge. But we manage. It’s a straightforward way of living and working. We just want to get the rice cleaned and packed so it can reach the people who want organic food. There’s no big secret to it, just a lot of hard work and paying attention to the crops.
